Gym Activities For KidsPosted on January 13, 2010. Brain Gym for children with autism? Brain Gym activities used for children with autism and found no success deep or at least a positive difference Yes, I used Brain Gym activities with many of my students with disabilities including autism. It increased vigilance and provided some of the children of sensory information that gives a calming effect. A Special Ed teacher, I worked with these activities on a daily basis and thought that it helped their children "get ready" to learning. The kids enjoyed it and it helped to start their school day on a positive note. I also used some of the activities with my students in speech and language delays and found similar results. When I worked in a pediatric outpatient clinic, our team of board service and would do with their patients. It seems they have also benefited from the activity.
