If you followed the Olympics, and who has not, you're sure to have attended at least some of the various manifestations of gymnastics. There is no question about the strength and skill of these athletes. They are the best in the world compete for gold, after all.

But there is nothing mystical or magical about what they do. The various initiatives that they take on the rings, soil or bars is the result of practice, practice, practice.

It is obvious that only few people can compete on the level of Olympic gymnasts. This is what makes the Olympics. However, everyone could enjoy to the most basic of gymnastics for the year.

It uses only those who began gymnastics at an early age could never fall or hold a handstand. Also those who are to escape and join the circus.

But moves now and acrobatic gymnastics are open to everyone, not just professionals. While at full backflips may be out of reach of most people enjoy basic moves like a handstand or roll.

Take this test. Can you do the following three moves? They are not even close to the Olympic level. In fact, everyone should be able to get away with such ease.

The first is a forward roll or somersault. Crouch and place your hands on the ground. Tuck your chin to the neck and around your back. Mouse over the back of your head and go back to your feet. How did you fair?

In the same crouched position, we do a roll back. It is more difficult for most. Move your hands to your ears while keeping your hands flat. Roll Back on a rounded back. When you come to the head with your hands to relieve the pressure in your head and get back on their feet. Could you do?

The third move is different. It is a handstand . But we will take the balance out of him, even if developed acrobats can easily balance on one hand. Find a wall to open flat. Place both hands on ground shoulder width apart from each other. Keep the arms locked, kick-ups with your legs to come and overhead. Hold ATR. Did you this? And for how long?

These three simple moves and much more to give you a variety of benefits of strength, mobility, agility and flexibility. It's really about, if you can move like you should be able to move. Perhaps the gymnasts are something.
