Your holiday in Italy: Venice, Rome, Turin Venice
Venezia, La Serenissima, Queen of the Adriatic, the Most Serene Republic of Venice is the city of canals, churches and palaces that captures the hearts and minds of all who visit. Venice is home to wonderful tourist destination known worldwide - Piazza San Marco, the Rialto Bridge, the Bridge of Sighs - but the real joy of Venice is just wandering around and finding architectural and artistic wonders around each corner.
Transportation: Getting there and getting away
Venice is served by two airports, Marco Polo and Trevino. Transport in the city by bus or it by bus from the water.
Trains depart and terminate at Santa Lucia train station on the west side of Venice. The resort fronts the Grand Canal, where water bus (vaporetto), or water taxis are available.
Cars and buses arrive at the extreme west of Venice, Piazzale Roma. There are no roads in Venice, so from here is by boat or on foot. Venice is the only city in the world truly pedestrian and walking is an adventure of chance discovery prospects in the beautiful cityscape.

Climate
Summer is hot in Venice. Temperatures average 27 degrees C, but results in a high humidity near the uncomfortable atmosphere. Sometimes sweeping hot sirocco from the south. Events: what is and what is hot
Venice has the character of a setting where many festivals are spectacular.
* The first event of the year is the Regata delle Befana held on January 6.
* The following month sees the major event of the calendar to know Venice Carnevale
which is a spectacle masked and costumed.
* May Festa della Sensa sees (Ascension) which celebrates the Sposalizio del Mar (Wedding with the Sea).
* Arts Festival is held every odd year in June in Pubblici Giardini.
Festa del Redentore * in July has a regatta and fireworks festival.
* The International Film Festival in Venice runs from August to late September
Torino
Turin was declared European Capital of Baroque style because many of its palaces and churches. In many respects different from typical Italian city Turin. It emits a strong French influence with its wide boulevards with white buildings. With the Po flows through the city, and the situation the Italian Alps in the distance, is a place full of charm.

By plane
Caselle airport is located north of the city and is connected to the city by bus and taxi. Turin is also easily accessible from the airport of Malpensa.
Turin has two main railway stations, Porta Nuova and Porta Susa. The first is to travel long and mid-range of the latter especially for local trains.
Turin has an efficient public transport system of buses and trams and a subway line was opened for the Winter Olympics of 2006.
The city of Turin has recently created a network of bicycle paths throughout the city.
