How to do it full time Olympic comptetitors pay their living expenses? How do sports and sports full time pay their daily expenses?
I know that sports receive lottery money, but is it enough to cover the costs of training, equipment and travel expenses? How about cost of living as a mortgage, municipal taxes, utility bills, etc.
Thank you
It depends on the profile of sport, be high or low. Most athletic benefit from funding things like the lottery, they will have sponsorship deals with Nike and Adidas who pay them money somes. They should also get money to compete and win £ 40,000 for example turning to run a 100m.
It is clear that sport has a pofile least there is less money for the athletes as there is less revenue for the sport, for example, organizers of sporting events as it is customary to pay little or no silver television or event sponsorship, so Sportsman will compete for little or no money at events.
Almost all or part of British athletes will have the lottery funding and small sponsorship deals small, but if they are in any kind of sports or they have rich parents, partners, or they must work 40 hours a week and then as we go train. How they work is probably corrolated with the profile of sport, just as standard. For example, an Olympic sailing medal will probably be the same potential gain from this sport as an athlete average tract of Great Britain, out in the semifinals.
depending upon what your country
in many countries, the government pays you, but how much they pay you is subjective in their country and how good they are.
eg, Mongolian athletes are paid 100 USD per month
there are also private donations
eg, in 2008, a Hong Kong mutibuillionnar donated $ 50,000 and 1 kg gold nugget for all Chinese athletes who won the gold medal.
while some other countries, athletes must have a job that they are clean and train together.
Not sure, but there was an interesting comparison in the paper the other day with Team GB sailors and Prime players wages and the average wage for the sailing team was
£ 25,000 per year, compared to what the footballers who is astronomical. What makes you believe is not it.
Well, they also get sponsored by sports franchises and other stuff like Nike Adidas sports Powerade, etc.
They have a job
