Special Needs Gymnastics

Posted on March 26, 2010.
Special Needs GymnasticsThink competitive gymnastics is great for all those with special needs?

Have you ever heard of someone becoming a great gymnast if they have learning difficulties who is?

Um, I'm not really sure exactly what you ask. But I will try to guess. I think that gymnastics is great for people with certain special needs. I'll explain deafness Gymnastics Vs. Since the effect of deafness and balance of force in the body. Gymnastics can help restore balance and strength. In particular, the beam. In fact, I am actually deaf. And I have not had great balance and strength in my legs. I started gymnastics when I was 8 years and now (I'm 12) and I'm able to Round-off-Backhandspring Backtucks. And many more things that an average of 12 years old gymnasts could do. Gymnastics is really fun and really helps to gain strength and balance. Competitive Gymnastics change your lifestyle, and I'm not sure if I want to do it again. But I'm on the highest level of recreational gymnastics.
Hope this helps and I answered your question.
