Sunrays GymnasticsVedic Culture ancestor of the Egyptian civilization

In my previous article, I have probably written a year back, I mentioned the similarities, I met among the Vedic civilization and of Egyptian civilization. Even so, I would like to enumerate some striking similarities to keep my readers informed and therefore it will be easier for them to understand the context of this article.

I read a book by Bob Bryer, a renowned Egyptologist, entitled "The Murder of Tutankhamen." While reading the book I found that there were fundamental similarities between the Egyptian civilization then and present the Vedic civilization namely the life of Hindus, wherever they are.

The similarities may be enumerated as follows:

  1. When Tutankhamun's father Akhenaten, the pharaoh, moved his capital to a place called Amarna and erected a temple dedicated to Sun God and naming the temple as the temple of Karnak. The sun god in the Hindu pantheon is an important deity and a temple dedicated to Sun God is located in the State of Orissa in 1278 built by Narasimha Deva EC. This temple is called the Temple of Karnak. We see a similarity not we?

3 In the phonetics of the word Egyptian "Wadi" prounced that WAADI meaning beautiful valley, green and lush. In phonetics devnagri whose Hindi is a derivative of the word "Wadi" is also the same thing.

Seeing these similarities that I wanted to do more or less detailed study of these two with an eye to the civilization of the ancient Vedic civilization.

The two most important epics of the Mahabharata Vedic civilization "and" The Ramayana. "These two epics are not just a figment of the imagination of someone, but in fact, facts that were reported. The Ramayana is dated about 8000 BC and the Mahabharata is dated 5000 BC. (See my articles on Ramayana and Mahabharata). These dates indicate that the Vedic civilization was a reality and a civilization that was thriving with all its majesty and grandeur on the banks of the river Saraswati, Indus and Ganges. This was technically very advanced civilization. Vedic literature, including the four Vedas and Upanishads have volumes of scientific treatise known as " Kala. "There are actually thirteen Kalas written by these sages.

The first one that deserves mention is the encyclopaedic Shastra which has been called Akshara-Laksha. This was written by Sage Valmiki. All kinds of mathematics including modern geometry, algebra, trigonometry, physics, applied mathematics, mineralogy, Hydel, methods of measuring the heat of the air and even electricity, and geography have been treated in this treaty. Science is the next important sabda-Shastra written by Rishi Kandik dealing with sounds, echoes of moving and non moving objects in creation. It deals also mechanically reproducing sounds, measuring their height and speed. Sakatayana Wise is the author of Lakshana Shastra, which deals with the science of determinig sex in animate and inanimate creation. Sage Kasyapa is the author of Shilpa Shastra and includes 22 varieties chapters.307 Shilpa including 11 types of construction such as temples, palaces, Hall, writers, etc. precedent on the subject have been Vishwakarma, Maya, Maruti and Chayapurusha their thoughts have been incorporated in the foregoing Shastra. The science of metal called dhatuvada was written by Ashwini kumaras. In ago 7 chapters dealing dhatus primary substances or combinations thereof and transmutation. Alchemy or converting copper into gold, etc. has been described in this work.

Ashwini Kumar was a great rishi who also wrote the Visha Shastra. It is also a comprehensive book in which 32 different types of poison Thei.
