Woking Gym

Posted on February 19, 2010.
Woking GymI am interested in Woking out but have no idea what to do when I get to the gym. Any solutions?

I have a fairly thin frame and was wondering if anyone knew a site or have ideas themselves a workout plan that I can use that will tell me step by step what to do when I 'arrives at the gym ... Thank you

Great question!

The bottom line: What are your goals? Most "experts" will give you a cookie cutter routine to follow, but it is useless without really knowing what you want to achieve with your workout. A great rule of thumb is to exercise the functional ability or in other words, training your body for real life and not just look good (although it's nice bonus too!;)

Take a look at this site for a major breakdown:

The first thing to have a plan and go with it, learn the different muscle groups and work on the days selected. This is my routine is Monday, chest and shoulders, biceps Tuesday and stomach, legs Wednesday, Thursday or Friday LVL is cardio, and Saturday or Sunday all over again. The reason I am doing this because I will not have to worry about training on certain muscle groups and it allows me to do as much *** possible to obtain adequate rest periods for big muscle gains. It does not check out your musclestuff.com or askmen.com.

Most gyms have fitness experts on staff. When you join a gym, they should get you started.
